Wild Buzz Agency devises a memorable construction-site dinner for Coca-Cola partners

Coca-Cola is preparing to open its first food market in one of Paris’s largest railway stations, Gare Saint-Lazare. For the occasion, WBA stages a banquet known as the construction-site dinner for a select group of guests. The tour includes a 3D preview of the future food court, floor markings, lighting and signage. A candlelit dinner with Michelin-starred chef Akrame Benallal makes for a distinctive dining experience. The evening brings together 100 journalists, influencers and brand partners.

A construction site, candlelight and a hundred guests. The contrast makes the event.

A construction-site dinner that reveals a venue before it opens

How do you introduce people to a food market that does not exist yet? Ahead of the opening of its first food market at Gare Saint-Lazare, Coca-Cola commissions WBA to stage a banquet in the middle of the construction site for 100 journalists, influencers and brand partners.

  • A guided route with a 3D projection of the future food court
  • Floor markings, lighting and dedicated signage
  • A candlelit dinner in the middle of the construction site
  • A dining experience by Michelin-starred chef Akrame Benallal

Producing a fine-dining event on a railway station construction site is a technical challenge. There is no kitchen, usable lighting or safe circulation at the outset. Everything must be brought in, set up and removed without disrupting construction or rail operations. Floor markings and signs guide and protect guests in evening wear as they move through an active work site.

The 3D projection lets guests see something that has yet to be built. Without it, they would be touring an empty space. With it, they can picture the food court, turning a site visit into a preview.

Bringing together 100 journalists and creators calls for careful guest selection and a well-timed announcement, so the coverage arrives at the right point in the venue’s opening schedule.

We use this approach in other press events, from the floral press day created for Violette_FR to Fnac Darty’s secret dinners with a leading chef.

Your agency for press relations and announcement events

An announcement that people experience in person generates more vivid reporting and more spontaneous social content than a press release. The venue often tells the story better than any speech.

Have an opening, launch or announcement to bring to the attention of the press and creators? As a Paris event agency, WBA devises the setup, produces the event and manages invitations to make your announcement a story worth covering.
