The Extraordinary Villa
For one season, Leboncoin’s Extraordinary Villa presents an exhibition of 10 unique works created in collaboration with visual artists and musicians. Built entirely around objects found on Leboncoin and reimagined, the experience takes place at the Cité Internationale des Arts and opens onto a garden accessible to the public for the first time.
An experience created 100% from objects found on Leboncoin.

Second-hand objects, ten artworks, one villa.
Ten unique works born from objects found on Leboncoin
For one season, Leboncoin’s Extraordinary Villa presents an exhibition of 10 unique works created with visual artists and musicians. The experience is built entirely around objects found on Leboncoin and reimagined: the platform becomes raw material for creation.
The creative constraint is at the heart of the concept. Each work must be made from objects actually available on the platform, reversing the usual process: instead of looking for an object to serve an idea, artists start with what exists and let the idea emerge. This requires advance sourcing, close coordination with each artist and the ability to make quick decisions when an object identified is no longer available.
The venue adds its own set of demands. Staging an exhibition at the Cité Internationale des Arts and opening a garden to the public for the first time means working within a heritage site: limited options for hanging and anchoring, routes that must be made safe, protection of existing spaces and respect for a setting where any intervention must remain reversible.
This dialogue between a brand, artists and a venue with a strong identity is something we do regularly, from the Carte Noire Black Supermarket entrusted to ten urban artists to Maison Moët, set up in a former school in Pigalle.
Paris event agency specializing in unusual venues
The venue is not a logistical detail to be settled after the concept; it is often the concept itself. A former school, a disused supermarket, a garden that has always been closed to the public: these spaces already tell a story before anything is installed in them.
Working with unusual venues requires expertise that conventional event spaces do not. You need to know how to identify a space before it comes onto the market, assess its technical possibilities early on, negotiate exclusive use with people who are not professional venue operators, and design an entirely reversible setup.
